Just about got my old but new to me trx 3.3 ready to go, new piston & sleeve, new rod (just waiting on a new wrist pin).
I've got a new THS pipe & header to go on it as well.
I'm stepping up from a stock 2.5r with stock 04 pipe & header, so I don't really know what base settings to use to fire it up & do the bedding in.
Methinks the THS pipe is going to require a different tune, so not sure if the stock settings will be close enough to the mark.
Stock is 4 turns out on the high speed, flush on the low speed - will this be close enough with the THS pipe or will it need to be richer/leaner?

Yep, that's factory settings, but will they be 'right' with the THS pipe fitted?

Also, I've been using #3 glow plugs in the 2.5 (it liked the hotter plug), should I stick with #3's or go back to #4's on the 3.3?

the low speed should be flush, not flush with the carb arm tho... the one that is just in from it.

yes as HPI said. u can't just run factory... generally you will just have problems and it wont run properly... so you will need to read up and tune it.... tuning is very fine so no 1/4 turns from here on out...
