I'm about 95% certain that is a 1st generation HPI RS4 or an old school HPI NRS4 which I've never heard of but both look INCREDIBALLY similar

Hugh you sure I didnt think they were belt drivin... but I have been mistaken before.. l.o.l. same kind of shocks and gas tank....
good forums like this one are great. but a good hobby shop is very helpful to.
The RS4 I owned was shaft driven but I am thinkin if maybe they made them belt before technology told them they can throw shafts in there instead. Lol it makes my brain scramble as to why Traxxas isnt shaft driven, like on their 4tec... Exposed belt drive is total garbage IMO.

yeah thats what stopped me from bying the 4tec instead of my rs4 was the belts.. I am really hard on everything I own so I didnt want to have to deal with belts all the time from spinning them off by blowin tomany donugts or crashing!!!
Yeah I went for the 4tec just cause it could go 70+mph lol, but when your screaming down the road and the car is forever away from you and a rock catches in the belt isnt my cup of tea to walk a mile to retrieve my car.....
