i was playin today in a gravel pit when i had a rear tire shredded so i was looking for a new set of 3.8 tires since i just bought summit rims and beadlocks for the offset i was wondering whats the best tire for the rims on a 3.3 HELP!!!
 
What tires were you running?

I haven't run them yet in the summer (only snow so far), but the traxxas newer 3.3 tires are pretty nice. Plenty of contact patch that should give a long life and enough sidewall to cushion jumps pretty good, but not so much that it will wander all over at higher speeds.

It's what I have on my savage now with traxxas 17mm rims. Will get some bash time in here soon hopefully... if the temps would get up above 50 so I could run my LRP in good conscience.
 
the summit wheels are not true beadlocks. you will have to boil or cook the wheels in the oven to get the old ones off.
 
Alot of people on ebay are buying new rigs and parting them out. I would look into a set of the latest revo wheels/tires (GEODE wheels). They have more offset and those tires are pretty decent. They do shake a little at high speeds but are a great all around basher tire.

I bought a set of these with wheels a little more than a year and a half ago, and i really like em personally.
