I'm looking for a T/B servo for an 1/8 buggy. I'm not looking for anything at all fancy, well, honestly I'm looking for something low cost. I'm thinking something with maybe 60oz of torque or so. For the money, what do you guys reccomend?

Are you looking for a normal sized servo? Are you looking for torque & speed?

If you not too worried about speed, consider these three options:

T-Maxx 2055 servo (80oz torque).

Savage SF-2 servo (90oz torque).

Hitec HS-311 servo (50oz torque/ 0.15 sec).

You can find the SF-2 or 2055 on ebay for $15-$20. Or buy them brand new for around $30.

You can scoop up the HS-311 for only $10. They are great, for the price. I had them on my touring car.

I have a hitec HS-303 I`ll sell you for 10 bucks.

nevermind the f er just went out.

Thanks again for the info. I just picked up the SF-2 for $14.95 on E-Bay! 90 oz @ .16 sec with 6 volts. Not bad at all.

Yeah, the SF-2 will do you right. The specs and the price is definitely right. At 90oz of torque, you should be able to hit the brakes with no problems, plus the speed is pretty good.

Let us know how it does with your setup.
