I'm a bit short on cash at the moment and my t maxx needs news shocks I've found a nice pair of alloy ones for the hpi savage quite cheap does if any know if the will fit the t maxx ?

Shocks for a Savage are longer than those on a Maxx.

You could use them, but you will need to put some fuel tubing inside on the shafts to act as limiters so the shock doesn't fully extend.

do you think they would be any good on it thow ? would you do it if was your truck ?

Savage shocks are way to big for a tmax you would have to make a coustem shock tower to run them for decent performence.

thanks alot 4 for the info guys i have decided not to go for the savage shocks as i have more money to spend on my truck and have forked out alot of it for a brand new set of alloy big bores and a set of alloy arms.

lol i actually am going to buy a set of alloy arms and i all ready have a set of alloy bulk heads lol

They're saying that a bunch of stuff breaks with alloy rims, they weigh more and things like that, rpm rims are the way to go it seems from what I've seen.

When you think about it.... the tires get the full brunt of each landing. the suspension can't do anything for the tires. Strong is good but the lighter the better
