I just got some big joes and proline wheels.I had to get some adapters, but the adapters seem beefier than the stock axle nut.the blue anodize looks cool against the black wheels, and hopefully i wont see my wheel passing my truck.

i put a little blue loctite when i put my wheel nuts on, i had a wheel fall of at wot and it rolled a couple times and cause too much damage so i make sure they do not come off

I have had great luck with the Pro-Line Trencher SC tires, very nice lug pattern, awesome wear life so far and man do they roost! I have seen them on another members MT and they are SICK lookin! so my .02 is the Trencher.

I run the axial 40 series beadlocks with proline moabs. nice setup for me. I run on loose dirt with rock chunks, and some grass and asphalt. the moabs do well on all of these surfaces. However beadlocks are heavy and I've found that they do put addtional stress on wheel bearings and other driveline components.

I like the newer traxxas wide wheels and aggressive tread as it holds up on many surfaces and does a decent job for a basher like me.

Run those on my savage and revo. Really like them for bashing on grass, some pavement, bit of sand...

Can usually find them on ebay for around $50 or so in sets of 4. There are a few variations, the wide/offset rims and the stadnard offset rims. I think the wide offset ones are 17mm hubs whereas the standard offset rims are 14mm:
