anybody got any input on the rc solutions skid plates and roll cage thanks

Roll Cage is top notch for sure . I really like the skids cause they act like a spring when you hit something lessening the blow so to speak . I don't even run bumpers anymore . Here is a pic and yes the integy shocks have been changed out to something better .

also do u run a body on top of your cage

Well truth be told only 2 shocks have let me down . Those were the first ones out I think ( msr4 ?) The caps on two shocks completely stripped out . So Ill use them on a crawler project . As far as a body I dont run one but I should be . The cage looks cool so I dont bother .

I'm not a fan of the rollcage but the skid plates are awesome, I just wish they weren't to so god awful ugly.

+1 here. Except for the ugly part. I liked their rugged looks.

Also disliked the cage. Bad for rear or side impact. Does it's job, but bends and stresses the aluminum then cracks when you bend it back. So, a $130 cage protecting a $120 engine... At least in stock form ;).

For a cage, I'd go with a New Era roll bar instead. Easier to work around and durable as all get out.
