Ok i bought a rc car off a buddy of mine an he gave me this extra motor with it.

I'm a noob an i don't know much about this hobby yet i'm still working on it. The engine seems to have compression an i need a glow plug for it. From these 3 pictures i got posted what do i need to have it running. I know i need a clutch bell but I'm not sure what else i need to go on before the clutch bell. I looked on the manual but it just has the engine an not the clutch assembly thing I'm looking for. Thanks

You will need a flywheel, flywheel split bevel cone, flywheel nut, clutch shoes to fit the flywheel you use and the clutch bell to fit the clutch. An air filter will help also :)

you know where i can order these parts. Can these parts be universal for 1/10 scale buggies thanks

Almost any small block size flywheel/clutch setup will work. You just have to make sure the type of flywheel nut that will be used with the type of clutch you use agree with each other. Other than maybe some shimming of the flywheel it should be a pretty easy install.

I never used an engine with a standard long threaded crank before. I've always had to cut them if they came that way and use an adapter, like these:

Associated makes a nut that threads on far enough so you don't have to guess where to cut:

If I remember right, you put the collet/flywheel on, then that nut and cut it flush with the nut to use one of the adapters from above.

What's the vehicle your putting it in?

I'm pretty sure you'd still need to cut the crank for that to work.

Or threaded shaft/nut like this:

My old (first RC I had over 10 years ago) used that on a standard threaded crank engine like yours. I can't believe I remembered how that thing was put together... lol. That thing was a pain in the butt. You had to lock down on it with pliers to tighten it and it liked to come loose.

Your definitely better off cutting the shaft and using something like you linked.
