hi I'm new on this forum and ill cut straight to the point. due to graduating high school and strarting college and working full time my car traxxas nitro sport has been sitting in my basement for probably about a year and a half now I'm gunna try and get the motor running again this week i was just wondering if there were any tips or tricks to make it easier instead of pulling the motor apart and cleaning it top to bottom thnx

Pull it apart and clean it out with Nitro fuel....or at least inspect it. It will take you an hour....and probably save you a few hours of swearing at it ;-)

haha yea thnx i was gunna pull it apart regardless the real pain in the ass right now is the e-z start system and the wired glow plugs I've never changed the plug and do u know if in order to change the plug i have to buy a new wire too??

The wire just pops into place and you can just simply pull it off to replace the glow plug.
If you've never changed the plug, that's probably why your engine won't start.

Yeah if it's an old plug...replace it. Don't even bother trying to fire it up ;-) Like TGL said, pull off the wire carefully...replace the plug...put the wire back on. Or remove the wire entirely and use a glow ignitor instead. That Traxxas Blue wire always sucks...and most people remove it anyway.

yea pulled it apart today everything looks surprisingly good ordering a few new plugs today and hopefully will get it running by the next week
