I have purchase a 2.5 Revo from a friend, and due to murphys law, it stopped running. To me it isnt getting any gas. I just replaced the fuel line and there is no gas in it. Since i bought this used he didnt have a manual for it, Should i pime it?? and f so how would i do that? I dont want to cause any more problems. I would greatly appreciate any help, and will answer any other questions you may haveto help me out.

Thak you
and happy holidays

Put your finger over the exhaust stinger while spinning the starter. You'll see the fuel (not gas, fuel) moving through the line. When the engine starts to sputter let off the stinger and it should start, as long as the tune is good.
Just one more tip...nitro engines don't like cold weather.

first thing i would do is look at the o ring on the tank the revo is famous for cutting the oring on the lid then you get no pressure from the exaust and no pressure means no fuel good luck and if your hooby shops like mine you have to buy a rebuild kit for the fuel tank you can't just get the oring unless you work in a shop like me and have them laying around all over:hehe:

I would follow Rolex's suggestion of priming the motor by running the EZ-Start and and holding your finger over the exhaust outlet until you actually see fuel going through the fuel lines into the carb. Once the engine starts sounding like it's trying to run let off of the exhaust.

Still nothing guys. I thinkl I'm goin to buy a new glow plug, and try that. But it still isnt pulling any fuel in. Let me know if u have any other ideas

My truck won't roll backwards. If its not running and just sitting there if i push it forward and try to roll it back it all just locks up. What could I do to fix this?

If people can't help with his problem, or see that he's already getting help, they won't see your problem.

Your problem has nothing to do with the current problem that's being addressed, that's why I suggested you start your own thread.
It's not a big deal, I'm trying to make it easy for you.

sometimes i pull the fuel line off from where it comes out of the exhaust and blow in it and u can see the fuel goin up the line toward the carb have u tried that yet just to see if anything is plugged

go back to factory setting on the carb which is 4 turns out from closed on top end an 2 turns out from closed on the bottom end cause it sounds like your needle is closed or it is set to leaan

Like rreevvoo I also blow into my exhaust line. I blow until the fuel hits the carb then stop. How's your pinch in the motor. If you have no compression then it won't draw fuel to the carb. And I would also consider a pull start with a wand. I had alot of problems with my ez starter not spinning fast enuff even with fully charged batteries.
