El Pirata you have the wasp?dose the hotbodies roto start fit on that engine ?

I don't have the Wasp, but I did alot of research on your question b/c I was very close to ordering it. I also looked into the hot bodies jump start to see if it would fit that engine (b/c that's what starter I have now).

Anyway, all the info I came up w/ seemed to suggest that the hot bodies backplate or the stock 25 backplate would fit on the wasp. The only thing you would need would be an adapter for the shaft. You can use OFNA Part # 39298 to make everything work.

Here is a link to one I found on the bay:

thanks for all the help guys Digital Liquid i just bought that thanks cuz

Hmmm for roto start users do you find it necessary to have that part that digital liquid linked for the picco 26. I have been running mine without it for months and it seems to work out awesome without it. Haven't had a problem yet.

the guy i just bought the part from send me this

Follow the instructions to assemble the rotostart backplate.
Remove your old pullstart backplate. If you have a Picco take care not to lose the spring shown in picture. For the Picco motor you will also need the adapter shown. This adapter is an OFNA hex drive nut. The part number for the hex drive nut is #39298You only need the adapter for OFNA Picco .26, Team Orion Wasp .26, Werks .26, and Force .25/.26 Engines. Grease the Rotostart backplate chamber lightly. Push the Hex Nut, flange end first, into the Rotostart backplate chamber. It will slide in effortlessly and will keep your one-way bearing from throwing out. Make sure you reinstall the spring into the new backplate. Bolt the rotostart backplate onto your motor and you are ready to go.

so i guess you really need it

Ummm you probably do need it. Again I have been running mine for nearly a full gallon with just the stock roto backplate with no adapter and it's working just fine for me. Not to say I don't need it or anything just it's been working out just fine for me.
