Need help, rear diff grease

If they are the newer style sealed diffs you use diff oil/lube inside the diff cup (oil wt depends on your preference and how you want the diff to react) and a light coating of wheel bearing type grease on the ring and pinion gears.
If they are the older type non-sealed diffs the same type of grease is used inside the cup. Just about any type of grease like wheel bearing grease will work.
 
if u have the grease type look for a greese that retains its viscosity it hot/cold conditions, otherwise if u run when its cold out the grese will become like clay
