Hey, before you flame and say use the search, i did. the guide by digital liquid or whatever the pictures dont work anymore. I think the thread is to old.

I am looking for detailed instructions on how to install it. I went to the lhs and picked up:

-Ofna linkage 10721
-3mm nuts
-3mm socket head cap screws.

Thanks a lot.

Check here...

I have a photo of mine installed... not really instructions. It's kind of a see and do thing.
Here's a shot of the whole thing:

A photo of the servo:

A photo of the pivot:

On the pivot, I used these and little washers instead of just the z-bend that is stock on the savage: http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXD910&P=7

I also used a piece of threaded end 2mm rod from the LHS for the throttle. The brake wire is stock though.

Hope that helps you.

haha, while i was waiting for replies on this one, i found that.

ok guys. Thanks for all your help. I got it set up now so that it goes pretty much WOT except for a tiny bit of it. Thanks for all your help. I noticed that the brakes are REALLY STRONG now. Is this going to hurt anything if I keep it with good brakes? Thanks

Since we are on brakes....
I am having to bend the rod coming out of the tranny towards the back of the truck to get the brakes to work. What is going on? Brake cam or piston wore?

The rod should be straight up and down, brakes off. Mine was about a 45 degree angle. Servo won't pull it like that.

Hope that made some sense to one of ya. Hard to explain.

but so having the brakes set at strong brakes, that wont hurt anything will it? Is it going to wear anything down fast? Thanks

It's hard on the diffs and center diff cups. Especially the front end of the truck. Your front diff/center axle takes most of the abuse from braking. Having it set so it will endo all the time is really hard on those parts.

ok, well I guess I will loosen it up a bit... Thanks for the info.
