need help for an engine for my r40 (non-pull start)

i was just wondering what would be a good, fast engine and easy to tune for an r-40

Does it have to be a rear or side exhaust

Any coments...? post em
 
Well first of all place the post in the RIGHT forum!! (on-road touring talk)
2. read the manual it actually show you what type of engine you need

but you will need a .12-.15 rear exhaust engine with slide carb.
 
Well I prefer a rear exhaust (non-ps of course) with a slide carb and SG crank. That's what my novarossi is. It's the easiest to set up.

If you want a non pullstart, you better have a bump starter or a starter box...

I'd recommend an O.S 12tr....easy to tune and a good competitive engine
 
it has to be a non pull start engine for the r40 there isn’t room for the pull starter,
and just as Kwong says chose one with SG shaft
