2 Days ago while bashing around the yard with my t maxx 3.3 and I broke my motor mount and the engine came out of line and ruined my spur gear. Last night I replace the motor mount and spur gear without problem. Today when I went to test it out it was giving me problems. The first problem is that at idle it wanted to take off by itself. The second is that as it tried to reach full speed it would start to chug at like half throttle. I am fairly new to this hobby so any help would be appreciated.......Thanks

first off, i just wanted to make sure that ur mesh is ok its not too tight or too loose, i know it has nothing to do with it i just dont' want to see you strip out ur spur again. But as far as ur engine problem it sounds like you have a tuning issue, i don't have a t-maxx but the tuning procedures are still the same, first thing i would do is make sure you don't have an air leak somewhere, backplate, carb, easiest way to do that is to take some soapy water and put it around the back plate and carb, leave your fuel lines attached to the engine and plug the carb and exhaust with your fingers and blow into the fuel line with soapy water around the carb and backplate, if you see bubbles you have an air leak if not you can move to the easiest thing is your carb settings, go back to factory settings and tune from there, you don't have to do them in that order, air leak and carb settings, actually i would check your settings first then check for air leaks, air leaks is the number one issue on these little nitro engines, i hope this helps you
