i got a tmaxx with a 1.5 i could get it started with my glow lighter but as soon as i take the lighter off the truck it turns off what do i need to do or is my engine no good :\
 
Yep. Either way too rich, bad glow plug or really worn piston/sleeve causing blowby. More than likely tune or plug though.

How olds your fuel? If it's really old and stale, that could be a problem too.
 
I've had the same problem before on my 3.3. Sounds like these guys have you covered. New glow plug and some fine tuning and I was good to go.
 
going to my lhs tomorrow to get a glow plug and i will let you know if i get it going thanks bros
