Rethink your statement. Once you do, I'll refer you to an engine. Be prepared to pay $560 and up if you really are getting it. Otherwise, give us a ballpark figure.

Do you want a maxx that blows itself apart or do you want a maxx that is usable?

It might be worth waiting for the TRX 3.3 to come out to stores... More displacement (TRX2.5=.15ci, TRX3.3=.20ci) with a lot of RPM's.

well, he didn't say he wanted the T-Maxx to stay in one piece ;)

As long as he posts a vid of that first post-break-in throttling up, all I have to say is .

want the biggest badest motor for my tmax dont care what it coast.

Also consider the additional upgrades needed to put such an engine on your maxx.

Chassis
CVDs
Metal Tranny Gears
Differentials
Wheels

All that power has to go somewhere, and when there's too much, it'll break something.

Consider it like dropping a 351 into a focus.

Hmmm, Cleveland 351 in a Ford Focus...hmmmm. Anyone got a welder's rig?!?

I've seen a 32v 4.6 in a Focus before :)

Anyways, I'm pretty sure he's needing something like a RB 323 or one of those new OS 30 VG's

New Era has a conversion for the Thunder Tiger .70 (the engine from the EK4). doesn't push many rpms, but has insane torque...

doesn't the type of mill we suggest depend on if he wants top end or low end power?

Well actually it depends on a lot of things, he's being pretty vauge in what he's asking.

He wants the "biggest and Baddest" well that's the price range of the ones he wants. If he wants bang for the buck, it'll be lower. If he wants to race, he needs to check limitations on the class. Otherwise, I'd tell him to just stick any BB engine in there.

thats a little high ok how bout tops of $350 or better yet it has to be user friendly

:thankyou:

would like motor that would pull wheelies in second gear also have starter thats external i have seen drill type that use a cordless drill tops $350 to $450 never thought about breaking the truck this is the toughest truck i have ever had the only parts broken are ones that shatered when hitting something or when my dipwad brother tried to throw it in reverse full speed prety cool fliped it broke revers gear no big deal.

Zandor, I think you might have already made one for s**ts and giggles!

gotta keep in mind that your gonna be dropping at very least another $150 into new gears for the tranny, the BB conversion set, and also cvd's.. When I did my BB conversion it costed me like $250 Just to do that junk, but the prices have dropped since then.. (then I bought my savage and was pissed because my savage bone stock out of the box could walk all over my Maxx that I had alot of dough dropped into..so I sold the maxx.)
