I've broken 2 rear plastic uprights already and i have'nt even bashed on it that hard. I've been landing modest jumps! so what gives? I don't feel i should have to work on it everyday just to play for a few hours!

I was "told" that the alloy version is a waste of time and money because all it will do is send the shockwave up into to TVP's, A-arms, diff's etc. when it land's. I also plan to upgrade the rear tie-rod arms also. Is this considered the norm with the plastic upright's or will the alloy's be a real benefit, or is what i was told even true?

Thanks in Advance for the help.......

They are a good investment, I really liked mine. The only downside is the included suspension hinge pins for the al. hubs bend much easier than HPI's hinge pins. They are not exactly the same, but you can make the HPI ones work.
Mine never caused me to break an A-arm, it just bent the pins.

aluminum doesn't really brake,it bends instead and it also adds more weight to the truck...
it's good investment but while one part is stronger then the other part it may cause more damage to the truck when you crash.
