need a new motor for my tmaxx.

hey guys, I'm looking to buy a motor for my tmaxx, the website is not letting post anything in the for sale spot. I'm lookin for something used/new, a motor that i can just basically bolt and go, I'm looking to spend around $80, i have the tmaxx classic, the trx pro .15 one. i want like, a picco .26/trx 2.5/trx 3.3. i really need one because life sucks rght now, lol, because i blew 2 motors in 1 day, so now i can't have ny fun till i get a new motor.

If you still have the old pro .15, couldnt you just go for the power up otion that Traxxas offers:

At least this way you will get a brand new motor out of it. $110 to upgrade to the 3.3!

Two in one day?! What the heck are you doing? No engine will be a direct drop in for a .15 pro unless it has a rotary carb and side exhaust. None of the engines you mentioned will work without the 2.5 conversion kit and just a word of warning a classic maxx will come apart with a Picco .26.

jeese joey no faith .. l.o.l. yeah you would have to do alittle work on the driveline and maybe the tranny to use a .26 I am worried about my driveline in my 3.3 maxx when I start using it.. ( good thing I have spare everything for the driveline!!) I would say do the 2.5 conversion and nothing bigger than the 3.3 but the 2.5 would keap from breaking too much stuff... in my opinion the 3.3 would be a good engine with the better conrod and maybe an upgraded piston and sleeve.. the power is fine but i have been through a couple in the past year.. good luc and hopefully you can get more than a day of run time on 1 engine, and make sure the tune is good because I almost bett it was running to lean..

yea i honastly dont know how it happened 2 motors in 1 day, nd yes i was thinking of doin the power up, but at my LHS its only 135 for a 3.3. nd i didnt know that a .26 picco would kill my maxx. that must mean it has a crap ton of power?? lol

yup it has alittle bit o power but dont forget if you go to the 2.5 or the 3.3 you want to get the 2.5 conversion cause there is a couple diference's not alot but enough to count... good luck!!!
