I need a measurement on a tmaxx 3.3ext chassis from the face of the rear output shaft of the tranny to the face of the output shaft on the rear diff. I am installing a brushless tranny for an electric conversion. I marked mine when I took it out but it got wiped off and I forgot to measure it. I think it is about 94.5 mm from center to center of the Pin holes but I think I can get it more accurately with a face to face measurement. If anyone would be kind enough to help me out I'd appreciate it. Thanks in advance.

So in other words you're looking for pin to pin measurement on a center rear dog bone?

Here is what I need hope this helps. I want to be able to use the factory length rear shaft

The extended chassis is basicaly just extended in the front of the chassis,

I dont know the front shaft dimension either. I am needing to know where to mount the transmission so I can use the factory length rear drive shaft. I am wanting to use the revo cups with the 78mm savage shaft in the rear then once it's all mounted I'll figure out what I need for the front.

Buy the shaft and cups 1st, and then position the transmission to where there is approx 1mm play in the shaft front to back in the cups. be aware, if you plan to use o-rings in the cups, this will change the positioning of the transmission.

Thanks snookman, I think that will be the best option I just did not know how much play I needed. This creates another question, would you prefer to use or not use the o rings. Since I am custom fitting the shaft, doesn't it eliminate the need for the o rings?

I prefer to use o-rings when possible.

Thanks a bunch, I may need to pick your brain some more throughout this project.

Which size, or from which other rc part o-ring do I need to get.

Depends on the cups being used, I buy a whole o ring kit for like 8$ that way I always have the one I need

+1^^^ I buy them in quantities of varying sizes.
Any o-ring with around a 7.75/8.0mm OD will work with the Traxxas revo cups. Even sliced fuel tubing does the trick if need be.

Thanks a bunch. Picked up an assortment kit at the auto parts store for a few dollars.
