Need a better air filter...

like i said it seems to be keeping the inside layer spotless.... last time i ran mabey 4 or 5 tanks in the dry non stop.. just kept refilling and it was dusty ect. ect. and when i brang in and took it off and went to clean it well the inside layer did not have a spot of dirt on it

Yea In the short time i have owned mine i can't complain. I like it. I still clean the inside one. I'm not gonna say that i clean it after every hour of run time but i run a couple tanks thru it. Ok a few.:\

its fairls dusty were i run so it can't hurt to clean it when I'm finished running it

see I have 4 extra internal filters so, I don't oil the outside. when I am running and I see the outside is getting dirty I pull it off place a new internal one in it, then dust off the external and back to bashing I go.

nah i think i would rather oil them even if it does make it a bit harder to clean at the end of the day
least i know that no dirt is making it through and into my engine

if you have no oil on ur air filters what's there to stop the dirt from passing right through.

You could also use this with the pantyhose method and oil the 2 and then put a peice of pantyhose around em which would stop alot of the bigger pieces of dirt hitting the filter and clogging it up

Outerwares......I have not needed to cleaned the actual filter since I put it on. Very good stuff. Wash it, dry put back on top of the two stage filter. That was the Staples "Easy Button" right there....Life is good
