I'm wanting to get a pretty good dc charger, which means I need a power supply. I hate junk, but I would like to keep the cost down if possible. I saw this one, but I'm not sure how well it would work

what do you all think?

It looks ok to me, but does it have "crocodille clips" connectors? I couldnt see if it had but that is what most chargers use. And any power supply able to charge a car battery will do fine, I use one from the 70`s still going strong.

This one cannot be used with the Triton charger wich is one of the best chargers in my opinion, something to consider. But I just use a cheap GWS peak charger (for my planes, but it charges NICAD also so I use it for my Savage aswell) - works very well!

There's an article online about how to convert an old computer power supply. Do a search, I bet you'll dig it up. That's prolly the cheapest way to do it...

That charger is what comes with the Intellipeak. Basically, the wire snaps in and locks into the power supply. It can't be used with alligator clips. I use the Pulsar2 Competition. It has alligator clips that can be disconnected so that banana plugs remain. I plug those into my duracom 12volt powersupply. If your alligator clips aren't like the ones I ahve, you can clip them onto the powersupply as well.
