I lost the screw on my steering servo while it was running, good thing I discovered this before I had a run in with a tree...
The servo is a Spektrum Z590...any one with a screw would be very helpful!

Drill it out, tap it and put in a 3mm screw. I do that with all my servo's for just such an occation. Besides, servo screws are soft and tend to strip anyway.

The spektrum servo's are the same as the JR's and are already 3M threads. So just find a 3M screw.

HOLY CRAP!!! damn that's a big Screw...

If you ever go to any fastener supplier 3M stands for the thread and when you say mm you are talking about the length. Just as if you asked for a 4-40 screw you are talking about the thread and you ask for the length in inches.

DOH.....my bad I must have been altering my conscious when I read this last time...LOL...and this from a machinist's son....my dad would disown me for that...LOL

It's M3, not 3M.

M is for metric, 3 is for the nominal diameter of the threads in mm. The standard pitch of an M3 screw is 0.5mm.
