My wife and I have been going to Dover for the NASCAR races for over 5 years now and have been fans for much longer. This past Sunday was our last outing of reserving seats in advance. If you are a NASCAR fan, you should be disgusted with the dumb assed rules and constant changes they make with things. It is more and more starting to look just like "the show" that drivers claim to need to put on for the fans. The newest rule of no racing back to the caution is not at all bad, in fact it is very good. The bad part is the "giving" a lap back to the first car a lap down! That's just plain bullshit! At Dover, the #12 was two laps down and ends up winning the race? At Dover a driver would be lucky to get a lap back yet alone two of them and then win. That means that the #12 had to come from the rear of the feild two times and pass every car on the track and then stay there. I don't buy it, no car is that fast and if they are they cannot be legal. It would not have mattered who won under those circumstances, it would still be bullshit. Nascar looks like it should be renamed "WWF on Wheels". Who knows, maybe the pre race driver meetings are actually to decide who is going to win as long as they don't wreck. Dover had several of the famous Nascar cautions of stuff on the track which convieniently stacks up the field again.
Another example of how Cooperate America completely screws something good up. That race was a total waste of $194 for two tickets! We left with about 75 laps to go and that we have NEVER done to date.
