I have been watching this race for hours now.
Is it going to be a "Last man Standing" Contest or will they ever make 400 laps?

What is it now, 19 Yellow flags?

What did you think of JR getting in to M waltrip...
his own team mate...

LOL 3 of 4 cars down and out.
Did you see the team owner toss his arms up and LHAO?
What else can you do?

I'm out in the garage grabbing a smoke. Didn't see it.
20 now? Ill turn the TV on out here and look.

I think that was my favorite part of the race :breakdown

I'm surprised at the points outcome. Mcmurray finishes 21st and maintains 9th place... lots of points back of course. Stewart finished 24th and maintained 6th. neither of them can afford another race like that.

I'm not even going to say what I think of the end or the winner but if you know what you normally deposit in the toilet and has a funny smell well that's what I think. I'm starting to really dislike NASCAR and feel the endings are becoming way to scripted. Hey give another one to Rick the conman, oh wait I forgot he was pardoned by the slickest pres this country has ever had.... PUKE!!!!!!!!!

Everybody get's their turn. That's how autoracing is... one team dominates for a while then loses it and someone else has the advantage. Look at F1 right now. Mr. Schumacher (aka the best driver in the world) and his team are nowhere near the caliber of domination they had in the past few years. It even shows in Nascar this very season. Plate tracks... DEI has proven they don't have the sharp edge that they did in the past few years. let's face it, Hendrick motorsports has the edge right now, at every track. they have extremely talented drivers, good pit stops, and outstanding garage guys.

Here's what I don't get jetmech... these guys race on and off for 5 1/2 hours at speeds up to 190mph and the difference between being the winner and the first loser is 2/100th's of a second.... then you say the endings are becoming way too scripted?

What he said

Yeah too scripted. I'll leave it at that. 5 1/2 hours or 5 minutes doesn't mean squat, anyone can slow a car down to let this year's chosen one win. You gotta love the mystery cautions for "debris" where they never stop and pick anything up. You see safety vehicles on the track but they never stop and pick anything up. I'm not talking about seeing this on TV, I'm talking about being there. All because someone has too big a lead. Just saying NASCAR now is not the NASCAR of just a few short years ago after this ridiculous TV paskage was put together.

I don't think it's scripted but they have changed some things that I don't agree with like... freezing the field on a caution which led to the Lucky dog rule, the red flag at the end of a race, the final 10 in points, all bad changes IMO. While I'm ranting I really don't like restrictor plate races either....He who has the fastest car and keeps it together until the end wins.

I agree, plates suck. They let Rusty out on Talladega without a plate and solo he was hitting speeds of 225mph. While I think speeds should be kept in check there are other ways to do it other than a plate.

I guess I am just sick and tired of hearing what a fantastic person Rick Hendrick is and how his teams deserve so much cause of the tragedies they have endured and all that bs. The guy is a convicted felon, plain and simple, no ifs, ands or buts about it. Got sick so he didn't have to go to jail, miraculously recovered when his sentence was over. Give a little money and got one of the very controversial pardon's ol slick willy was handing out cause he was a lame duck on his way out the door. Now NASCAR is bending rules to help them out cause he's got family and employees smeared all over the side of a mountain in VA cause the crew was careless. I just have a hard time thinking he or anyone of his teams deserve anything other than for him to be seen for what he is, a frickin CON! Sorry for my little rant. NASCAR's little rules game is going to far punish this guy, but not that guy. Penalize him but, on and on. Sorry, done venting...

Now back to your regularly scheduled programing.
