Took my wife to see Hidalgo for her birthday. Great date flick, but that is not what this thread is about.

During the previews, they had a NASCAR commercial that had a bunch of NASCAR drivers racing RC models in a garage. The end result was that the winner's car got run over by a golf cart. The pit chief says to the driver, "Sorry about your little car." It was a pretty cool commercial. Too bad I can't remember what the product was...as I was focused on the RCs and cringing when the little car went crunch under the wheel of the golf cart.

Anyway, just thought I'd share that and ask if anyone else had seen it.

I think another member said somethign about this being a commerical during the super bowl. I haven't seen it but want too. If you find a link to a online video, link it up!

I don't know whats up with your computer Sky, maybe it just that website and your computer dont get along well. It worked for me only the video was damn sketchy and was skiiping around and what not.

Funny you mentioned it, I saw that in the previews for 50 first dates (not to good of a movie in my opinion) I thought the comercial was pretty cool though how they had all the cars flipping and crashing and if I rembember correctly at the end someone rolls over the home depot sponsered one with a tractor or something like that.

And speaking of Nascar and RC I was watchin the show "reality of speed" on Spike TV at about 11:00AM on saturday a couple weeks ago and the show is all about the crew from the nascar team enzyte, and how they build the cars and stuff. They had some extra time and they driving around a T-maxx for about 30 seconds in the show and later they were ramping what I think was a Mini-T off a piece of plywood in the shop. Did anyone else see that?

The winner in the commercial, Tony Stewart owns Custom Works now.

Sky - I first seen that commercial while watching the Daytona 500. I can't figure out if they are using pan cars or TCs, but I think I can hear trannies to indicate TCs.

Ya that little bleep. Stewert is really into rc,he owns Custom Works which makes alota dirt oval rc's.I remember reading on the HPI website about a year ago where they donated and fully hoped up RS4 3 and a Nitro MT to Dale jr and some other drivers, the article went on to say how a bunch of the local hobbyshops would open for them after a race where they would get together and do some bashing after the race!maybe someday one of them will join RCNT!8-0

Probally already a few of them on here. I saw a interview where DAle Jr was talking about how he gets online and plays NASCAR onlie games and gets his ass beat, lol. He was like I use the same setups as I do on my real car yet they kill me.

Ya my brother claims to have raced a few of the guys at sihara on-line or something like that. Thats the name of the company that produced the game?

Sorry, missed that thread.

hey in that new Listerine comercial for the orange kind, there is a guy sitting there working on a on-road car... i just noticed it today. looks electric to me from what i seen.

Thanks for the link Sky. The Las Vegas race was the first time I saw that commercial. I thought it was pretty cool. :) Whoever did the bodies for the commercial did a good job.
