Hey everyone,

I got this buggy for X-Mas just haven't been able to post up the pics until now. I think I have found a track near me where I can race it in the spring, gonna be awesome.

This is what I got:

Xray XB8 kit
Novarossi P5
JR XR3i Radio
Hitec HS-5645MG for steering
HS-5625MG for Throttle/brakes
JP-1 Tuned pipe
Proline Badlands

I'm waiting till spring to break in the P5 so its a shelf queen for now :) What do you think??

Thanks ben, I haven't gotten to the lid yet. I dunno what to paint it lol.

SWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEET. My friend has one and he LOVES it! your gonna like it even more then the sp1 i bet.

I'm green with envy!! I plan on the same setup here, except for different servos..(I'm gonna try the airtronics ones). I hope you have a blast with it!!

How many of you think the Xray is better than the Mugen??

Thanks for the comments guys. I can't wait to play around with set-ups too. the XB8 manual has a full chart on what things do and how they affect handling.

I'll get some pics of it next to my dads SP1. He thinks he can beat me...time for a race :)

I would have gone with the nicer airtronics servos, but I was already pushing it with all the nice stuff I got haha.

I DO....I DO

AC....nice setup...seems very familiar to me...lol..you are gonna LOVE that setup....it just stomps serious ass

*steels your tires while you sleep.

I've heard on that pipe that the little springs like to run away. I've heard of people putting a zip tie around them so they dont go anywere.

great looking buggy man, i bet its killing you to not be able to drive it.

for once I'm GLAD i live WAY down south where its hot all year round. now if i could just stay out of the water id be ok.

i know you been rolling it around the living room making vroom vroom noises and stuff!!!! lol

Please tell me how you break in your mill. Mine was a FPITA!!!

The heat cycle is the way to go, doesn't take too long. With those beasts you need to heat it before starting. Otherwise you'll never turn it over with your box.

I hear ya Ben. I spent an hour on the drill press just get it loosened.I am digging on the XB8 a lot. I almost... want to get that and sell the X5.Almost. Damn AC it looks good!!!

Jon you wouldn't regret the move unless parts are hard to get.....the parts issue gets me pised sometimes but then I think about how long I go between having to need stuff other than A-Arms, and I get all warm and fuzzy inside....

Either way both rigs are hard to get so I just grin and wait. But it is just a thought... I am looking for a used rig to try out

Yea I am dreading the breakin lol. I plan to get it as hot as I can and loosen the plug just a bit, get my starterbox fully charged and see if I can get it to turn over.

Jon I have never owned a X5, but I must tell you the overall quality looks well beyond that of a MP777 SP1. The build when much faster and nicer lol. I can't say anything about performance till spring, but judging by its manners when a I push in the living room and make vroom noises it seems pretty damn good. lmao beason.

I'm sure I'll be starting a thread come spring about breakin in the P5 lol. The Collari B3 was easy but I have a feeling this is not going to be very easy.

Vroom VROOM!! LMAO

As far as your break in< good luck using your starter box. I recommend giving the P5 some ARO to help you turn it over.

Yep, gonna pour some of that in there too lol. I do have the chrome top starter box, which should help, its pretty beefy.
