yea its a beast, I'm gonna put the stock rims and tires back on it tomorrow my turning radius was thrown out the window with these massive tires on it, the 8inches tall and 5 inches wide lol.. show rims/tires.. ill either sell them or use them when i get my grave robber body..

ill be puting my spektrum Tx/Rx on it this week, i got a venom onboard on it, but i seem to not be getting more then 75feet?? think its the stock am Tx/Rx on it?? ill find out when the Rx gets here this week i guess

do you have any overheating problems with the 5.9 I'm running my spectrum with telem.and its always beeping can't seem to get the temp right the motor has yet to even come alive with out over heating

hows the temp.on that new k5.9 i have the dx3 with telemetry motor is hot hows yours

Everyone that I've talked to or read about the 5.9 says it seems to run hot and people can't seem to get any performance out of the motor unless they run well over 250 degrees which is higher than HPI says it should run. Over the years I've had motors that just run hot. I've always tuned them by the performance and amount of smoke rather than temp. One of my old motors that I put over 3 gallons through was always between 260 and 300, but there was always a good amount of smoke at full throttle. I never had a problem with it ever. just keep leaning it out 1/8th turn at a time till the performance gets better but there still needs to be a good amount of smoke at full throttle. Also when running high temps on a motor you need to make sure that when you shut it off the piston is all the way down, you don't want the sleeve to cool down and form around the piston.
 
i found that the fuel has alot to do with it with this engine. do not use any dyed fuels like traxxas fuel or any colored fuel. make the engine run hotter. i switched to odonnell 20% and its perfect.... stay away from any colored fuel
 
your work area is great ! i have to work on kitchen table and when I'm done bashing nothing is clean so i get an ear full

Nice work area. you've got just as much space as me! lol But def sweet rig. Its HUGE. Wouldn't want to play chicken with that one lol
