my v-spec blew up!!

my $300 v-spec blew up. my question is to you guys should i try replacing it, the conrod blew up and there are shards in my engine, should i have OS deal wiht it and maybe a warrenty will cover it? or should i jsut go get a new engine? any comments would be great. iam soo sad, this ws my baby and now its gone :yell:

I would talk to OS about it first. If the shards damaged the piston/sleeve then you will need a new rod/piston/sleeve to run the engine, but, talk to OS about it first. Were you running it lean? Did you hold the throttle open for too long?

i must have had the throttle openend for too long, i will call OS first thing on monday morning. thanks

How much fuel did you have through that thing? If you replace it would you consider selling it?

i had 1.5 gallons through it, but i going to have os just replace it
