Hulkmaxx it is the integy chrome kit. Pieces that were pladtic were painted gray. I like to do different things that others enjoy as well as myself. I've had then since 03 i think. Putting things in place to get them running again. Its very heavy, that's why i went with the.26 for the build. Wish i still had all of my old parts.

Bling, bling…

Hey bud, LF/RR/LR upper Racer X arms are upside down (Racer X arms are always installed trailing), all 4 lower a arms are upside down also, (cut out faces down).

If the upper a-arms are Racer X arms (and they appear to be) they are designed to add caster, meaning the pivot ball threads are off center on the arm compared to a straight line axis. This allows the top of the axle carrier to lean toward the rear which adds caster for better steering.

The lower arms are normally installed with the cut out section down (one side is flat the other is machined out to reduce weight), this makes the screw holes for the shock mounting on the upper part of the a-arm. The only real difference on the lowers is the shock end doesn’t stick out of the bottom of the arm in harms way.

Oh okay. I understand. I'm about to take it apart. Chrome needs serious cleaning. Ill do before and after shots. Thanks again. Wish me luck. Lol!

I appreciate the tips. Now that i think about it, i believe the chrome kit was called ultimaxx from hardcore racing. Long time ago. I just remember sinking a bunch of dough in it. Lol

Beautiful rig man. I love the look of a fully blinged truck.
I had an all aluminum truck of my own at one time. Sometimes I regret parting it out.
Now I prefer to enjoy other people's works of art.

After several years of showing off my truck to friends and family, posting pics to every rc forum I could find,
I reached a dead end point with my rig. Everyone I wanted to show it to had seen it.
I was extremely limited on where I could run it. Selling it as is was not an option, I would have never got back what I invested.

So I did the next best thing, I sold off most of my bling and coverted it to a basher.
If you find yourself in the same situation someday, thats a good solution IMO.

How much would you guess your truck weighs? Mine was a morbidly obese 14.5 lbs at its peak.

Nitrotrout, mine is all chrome. There were no aluminum pieces out then i dont think. Heavy truck. Lol. Thats why i went with the .26. It was the best in my opinion at the time. you're right, no one will give you what its worth. I'm getting it ready so i can give it to my 5 yr old. I'm going to keep my titanium race truck.

16 lbs, Thats a biggin! Thats a Picco .26? I have a Sirio .27R in it. Sweet running motor. It really came to life when I put old Betsy on a diet. Truck weighs about 10lbs now.
Heres a couple before and after pics.
