I need help, every time I screw in the glow plug the pull start gets hard to pull. So every time I try to start it, it won' start.

loosen the glow plug just a little.... get it started and retighen the plug. And make sure that your not tryin to start a flooded engine you will rip the ps cord right out of the housing..

Loosen it just enough to turn over, but not so much it turns over freely.

Is it new from the factory?

What's your glow charger/ignitor does it have a plug meter on it? or is it just a generic ignitor?
I would stick it on the charger, and pull it right off the charger and onto the plug..A hot ignitor always helps..

Lots of info here, have patience we'll get you up and running

I think that it could be an internal problem, but I haven't used it that much.

first what igniter do u have? next is it brokem in or is it streight from the factory? is it the .25? Just give us some back ground info and we will be able to help you better.

ok your glow charger is the thing you put on your glow plug do you charger that with a charger or do u buy Cbatteries from the store. Did you just buy your truck from the store and have you started it yet? Tell me what you have done with the engine since you have purchased it.

I have one AND I KNOW WHAT ONE IS BUT I DONT KNOW THE SPECIFIC NAME OF MY GLOW PLUG IGNITER

Sorry didnt mean to talk like you are stupid just didnt know sounded like you were trying to start it with just the pull start, Try what rolex said, and let us know.

Okay, not a glow plug problem.
Take off your air cleaner and drop some fuel directly into the carb. Half a dozen drops or so.
Keep the glow plug slightly unscrewed just to relieve some compression, then try to start it again.

thats good that means your glow plug is good, not i guess try putting it in the engine get a hair dryer and heat the engine up with it and the air filter. Then put the glow igniter on the plug for about 1-2 min while the hair dryers heating it up then once its heated try and start it with the glow starter on the plug. before you do any of this you may want to put you finger over the exhaust and pull the cord about 5 -10 times. let me know how it all goes.

none of that stuff? IDK i wish i could magically fly to help you out but i can't, is it the savage rtr .25 is it new.
