Anyone have a specific clutch /clutch bell/spur setup they like for any main reason?

I am looking to replace the old clutch and clutch bell setup with something that has a little more snap and need a little input. Any Part numbers along with necessary hardware or other stuff would be appreciated. Running the 3.3, no EZ start setup.

Racers edge nitride CB and the MIP clutch shoes was teh best setup I liked.....I forget what gearing I liked but it was higher than stock by just a few teeth on the CB.....

Any links where I might find both in a nice package with the tools I need thrown in? And can I use pretty much ANY clutch I find out there for my size engine or will I need to delve really deep into this thing and find an almost exact replacement?

Also, and this is going to be one of the stupidest ones you have all heard in a while- What are the "Correct" names for the small pivot balls that hold the tie rods to the servo savers and the small metal inserts that protect the bottom of the shocks and allow them to move freely? I searched all over ebay for "Shock Pivot Mounts" and things like that but found nothing?

I know. Total Noob question, but I am at a loss.

Search for hollow ball, the only ones I see that don't include the rod ends are for the Revo

Perfect, just what I was looking for.

Anyone have any current opinions on the Integy bumpers? I have the stock bulkheads and extensions/braces and it looks like the bumpers wont mount to those as they come. There a mod out there to connect the alum. bumper to the stocker bulkhead?

You should be trying to mount them to the bumper mounts, I'll try to find a pic

I looked at a few integy bumpers for the Maxx and they look like they should bolt right on....On of them looks like you might have to take the curves out of the mounts but that would be easy.

In case your not sure what the bumper mounts are, they bolt onto the bulk heads

Yeah, tat was my bad. I am mounting them to the bumper mounts, I just call them bulkheads because they are all integrated into the large front piece.

As for all the bumpers I found, they are all flat, with no "tabs" that extend from the rear to match up with the curing protrusions on the bumper mounts... I dunno how to explain it, but they really just don't look like they will match up. Either way, I am gonna buy these ~> http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dl...MEWA:IT&viewitem=&item=300108234567&rd=1&rd=1 from Ebay and hope I get a good fit.

I know aluminum is prone to bending and all, but as opposed to what I previously stated (That I WOULD NOT buy any hop-ups for a while) they will go great with my new Body and I think I might like just a little bit of flash from the metal.

All in all the project is turning out nice and I think I might have gotten a good deal all around.

Has anyone checked out that Ebay link? it ends in less than an hour and I would like to get some opinions on weather I would have to buy extra stuff or not to accommodate the pieces...

you shouldnt, those bumpers would fit my e-maxx, unless yours isnt stock..

the t/e maxx are very simular rigs, and these parts are identical on both. i only have a e-maxx though so i couldnt say "those will fit my t-maxx" lol

Update. Went EBAY crazy and found some decent parts.

I think the one bg part that I wanna show off is the bumper. finally found one that looks like it will fit right (Sorry about the watermarks)

Got some Tierods and Hollow Balls from RC Mart, Kudos to them again on a great deal

Picked up a standard Hump pack, nothing too fancy from EBAY- Looks like it will work for the steering detail.

Then got to thinking that I am gonna need some new screws, being as the old ones were really shot.

Got into a big deal with the seller because none of the "Specialty" screws were included (the Arm pins, the shock mounts, the engine mount screws) but all in all they will do the job.

And, last but not least I picked up a NIP clutch from Integy with some springs to match. Hopefully I can figure out how to put this thing together without loosing an eye or my patience.

Thats about it guys, it should all be done here in a week or so and I will actually get to try this thing out.

What ya guys think?

Anyone got any tips on replacing the stock clutch with the one up there? This will actually be the first time i have ever removed a clutch from one of my models...getting apprehensive.
