It looks great. I had an escalade EXT body done for my maxx. Is that epoxy on there rigging a broken gas tank? I can't tell what it is from the picture. If it is, I hope you're not going to run it with a tank like that after spending all that money fixing it up. Please know I'm not trying to criticize or sling insults, I just hate for you to have air leaks and get fuel everywhere on that nice truck and not be able to get the new engine tuned right.

ya i goofed when siddering a wire on the old motor i used some clear plastic and melted it back to gethier for temp

would a none air tight tank mess with it while tuning its till were i barly can blow threw it tho?

The problem is that the air fuel mixture will be inconsitent. The engine will go from rich to lean rich to lean and you can't really regulate it. It might be ok, but OS calls for a certain mixture during break in, and I wouldn't want to chance running it too lean and shortening the life of the engine in a drastic way or signifigantly decreasing performance. Tanks are really cheap and you could order one today and have it buy Wednesday I'm sure. There's a good chance one of the LHS has one.

Looks like your well on your way to a quick maxx! That TZ is supposed to be one heck of an engine with the TM being close on its heals. I had the TM in my revo, and it was one of the best engines I've owned to date.

You're really going to enjoy that engine. I just hope you don't have a lot of drivetrain issues from the power.
