the stock engine on my tamiya tnx 2.5 was destroyed,does anyone know of another brand or model that would fit? I'm kinda new to this hobby help would be appreciated.....thanks
 
I wasn't aware there was a tnx 2.5, thought they had a .18. I think they had the .18 and then a big block version, can't remember and can't find much now on it.

Pretty sure they ran a side exhaust small block, but I can't remember the type of carb and I don't know the type of output shaft. Fill us in on those two things and I'm sure we can find you something that will work.
 
yea thats wat i was told,I'm pretty sure its the older .18 small block it does have a side exhaust,i received it broken and i know its an o.s brand,its hard to find any parts online really,and my local hobby shops say they dont carry the tamiya brand
