check your batteries first off and then check your connections if your batteries are new and also it doesn't hurt to make sure that your crystals are in all the way... the only other think I can think of is, is there anyone else real close by that owns a rig aswell??? cause if so they might be running the same frequency..

When running the am radio you stand to get ALOT of interfearance with other frequencies. Even more so if you live in a highly populated area rather than in the sticks. I would gather that if your rx/tx batteries are in good shape than you probably picked up someone elses frequency.

Or, you could check to see that you didnt pinch or break the antenna wire inside the antenna tube during a roll over crash or something like that. Or pull it right out of the rx all together!

I've been having the same problems and have checked all that so i just bit the bullet and ordered the new 2.4 remote and brain box since me a couple buddies all run ours together so i shouldnt get the interference or go through the annoying lets all change out frequencys

This would be the best way to go. What tx/rx are you thinking of getting?

If your antenna is rubbing against soemthing it shouldnt be ( like a metal roll cage ect ) it will do that.
