My SCX10 Rubicon Build Thread

Been waiting on back ordered parts from Vanquish so I haven't done much.

Big block has been pulled from the Warthog.

Some stuff trickled in earlier this week.

Since I didn't have the lockers yet, I went ahead and skipped to the tranny. Vanquish case, HR gears and ??? out drives were left over from a build I never completed years ago.

I finally have the lockers and everything else I need for this build.

Time to mate the tires and wheels.

Inner ring to front ring is purely decorative.

Front bead lock to front ring.

Once inner ring is inserted into tire, it's just a matter of adding both the front and rear rings. Only 4 bolts holds it all together.

Done

Diff assembly time

Vanquish floating locker

Diff buttoned up

Curries are up next

Fit and finish are over the top

The differentials look Really nice and Real

Definitely some 'over the top' parts in it. I think it's just aw...aw....can't say it.
I think it's really cool.

A few pics got jacked up and are unusable. I did salvage a couple.

I used Traxxas rod ends on the shocks since they are more beefy and smooth.
