NICE!! Stellar work!

I decided to weather my wife's WoW-themed computer case and found that (of all things) cinnamon and chili powder dusted onto some wet black and/or metal-colored airbrushed paint can make some fairly convincing rust.

The shop smelled amazing for a few weeks afterward. LOL!

That came out amazing!! I’m going to have to look into doing the same thing now with my son’s computer. 👍😎
 
Well, it's awesome! You couldn't have told me otherwise that you're not a pro!
I've painted a few bodies over the years. Always for myself and close friends, never wanted to try and do it for profit. Not really that great at it as I'm not fast and I can't cut straight lines very well. I think that's partly why the patina came out so well, it's all random, no precision to it. I want to do another one or two, so we'll see if there's any skill that transfers into them! I think there's a few things I might do differently as far as mixing paint manufacturers go.
