I finally got my T-Maxx all put back together and ready for another trial run. I took it completley apart and cleaned eveything and replace all the stripped screws. I also installed all the parts I bought for it months ago which include foward only conversion, Titanium rear skidplate, vented flywheel and a couple other small items. I was bored so I also added a custom paint job the flames/ripped paint starts off Candy scarlet and then fades to purple pearl it looks killer in the sun. Now I have to wait for it to warm up to take it out and hopefully run it with out it breaking, haha wish me luck!!!! here are a couple pics of it now.

Looks good Jesse.

Hey the plant in the background either needs watered or smoked.

Nice truck man, i really like those rims, also i was wondering if your rims work real well i have herd many stories about the aluminum rims not being that great they suppsedly break alot. do you like them?

- Cody - :boxing:

I've actually only ran it a couple times and on one event I had a runaway with it and it plowed into a pole with the front tire at top speed it destroyed everything but the rim It diddnt even put a scratch on them. They are extremely tuff!!! a plastic one would have exploded into pieces for sure> and the design of these that I have makes them pretty light considering they are aluminum. I think if I was to break one of these it wouldnt matter because the rest of the truck would be destroyed in a wreck bad enough to break one of them. If your intrested in these look on ebay they are made by dynamite I got these for like 29 bucks got luck on a auction ending in the middle of the night :) I will see if i can find a link to set for you .

plastic may be cheap but they take a hell of a beating......I ran a set of RPM wheels over w/ my truck while leaving the track and nothing happened to them.....

True but Rpm rims are awesome compared to the stock ones thats kind of what I was thinking of stock wheels. I have Rpm on my Rustler and have never even cracked one and I have crashed hard with it lol.

Sweet job, Jesse. You have a real nice talent for these things.

Make sure you have FRESH batteries and/or a failsafe before you run the Maxx again!!!

lol yes I did it has brandnew batteries and I got a failsafe from Plaidfish and I've tested it to make sure it was set up right lol. Thank you for the compliments. By the way its and exterior paint job the body is an original Maxx body that used to be green with orange flames. I used black Krylon fusion paint that stuff is awesome I tried to chip it off the body and it wont come off. Then I used Boyd enamel paint sprayed from my airbrush on the flames. The body was beat up bad when I got the Maxx chunk missing from tailgate couple cracks here and there anyway I dont have the $$$$ to get a new one so I figured I would see what I could do with what I had. And get some practice so when I can get a new one I can do something very sweet to it :) anyway glad you guys like it, it my first rc body but I've done many 1/18 Diecast cars that I customize sometimes and sell on ebay.

Very nicely done. There's nothing like a good wreck to learn a lot from.
One suggestion......lose the tablecloth. It's almost march.

AAAAWWWww but the kids love it lol and they are pigs when they eat!!!! when I have more $$ I will get a new one lol

hey jesse i couldn't find any rimslike yours. do you have a link for any? bue for specific

thanks - Cody -

Those are aluminum rims, and i would not suggest those only because, if they bend, its a lot of money to get new ones. Go with some RPM or Maximizer rims.
