Hello my friends,

Here is my current project (been on the stove top, literally for months :()

I call her my project "Cow Pounder". I like my wheels big... my rigs low... and I have a habit of cutting my lids until the point of no return :D So here she is through a few stages... Final one is yet to be completed!

Here is how she sat for the first run... RC8FT-E with mamba monster 2200 combo, zippy 4000mah 6s1p, HPI Blast and Tremor wheels with Phaltline (belted by me) tires, by the math "theoretically" geared for 80 MPH but I am pretty comfortable to say she was capable of 70+ realistically ;)

Then of course came the learning curve... the broken parts... and the glorious goodies :D Finally settled on a good mix of Fioroni and King headz upgrades, some 100k front, 50K center, 20K rear fluids...

Now that she was pretty dialed in and reliable came the need for a lid in proper Bovine fashion so I asked my buddy Travis at bodies by neonot to give me some cow spots and true carbon fiber...

As is usually the case she lost hard battle with a curb in a full speed slide (I thought I was in control :p:) it was time for a rebuild. She is not done yet... Just need to order some parts and wrap her up but thought I would take the chance to make some big changes! Some custom CowRC green, black, and Cow Print Chassis anodizing....

Currently half assembled waiting Foam tires and regearing for over 85mph "by the math" with a plastic spur and a wonderful new power Plant... NEU Motor and about 20C and 1000mah of extra juice to go with it :D

I Should have mentioned... All the custom anodizing you see here inculding the multi-color wrench and cow print was done by 1offrc.com. Tell Janeth cow sent ya... Great customer service and honest prices! :)

I will admit she gets me excited to... Dream to drive. Hugs the road and does easy 40-50+ Mph drifts around the street corner :first_place:

Heath i love it!!!...

The chassis and wheel wrench are awsome....are you going to be selling wheel wrenches like that?

No plans on selling these but I am sure 1offrc.com would be more then happy to whip up your own custom wrench!

Thanks for all the kind words my friends... Just need to get some time while the weather is still cool enough for big batteries and steep pinions :hehe:

you didn't buildone of these buggy / truggy things out of an Xray 808 and sell it on e-bay a few weeks back did you???

this is pretty freakin awsome for a bovine to build...good stuff

did you start with a nitro FT and cnvert the parts for electric or did you start with an RC8Be and upgrade the parts?
Is the Fioroni chassis a truggy or buggy chassis?

I'm sellg off a bunch of my stuff to build the truggy version of what you did here, looks awsome and makes me want to stat mine before unloading rigs....

Hello my friend,

I love the looks of the xray although I have not been lucky enough to own one just yet ;)

She started as one of the limited edition RC8FTE released about a year ago I think. Chassis is a buggy although I do plan in the future to add a few inches to the wheelbase with a custom chassis :D

Good luck on your build!
