I think i'm going to place the atomizer for the fuel on the inside lip of the leading edge of the nose cone, to keep it out of the heat. it should still give enough fuel through the reed valves and into the engine.

It might be made of cardboard, but it will take a bit to heat up and that should allow it to run for a couple of seconds.:\
