Wouldnt getting a bigger tires make it that you hafta use more torque to get them spinning? I was just thinking wouldnt that make a factor on ur speed now? I think it would, but I'm no expert. Tell us how it works out once u get it runnin

i was thinking about doing that to my storm, but then buy an LP "stadium truck" body for it.(t-maxx size) It would be very easy to race in 2 classes w/ one chassis. get the smallest clutchbell available, and run w/ a 48t spur.

yes it will cut down on speed, but i do not race. there is nowhere around my area that races, so we just bash 'em. speed isnt really a big factor for that, and besides, i can always change everything back the way it was originally. it just depends on what i want to do that day. i got the new clutchbell and spur gear for torque. ill let you guys know how she works out when i get it up and running, hopefully by the weekend!
