I got a clocked Nova P5 w/2058 pipe. This is replacing an O.S. .25xz. This is my first P5--too many people recommended it to me so thought I would try it. Neal Smith at CRE modded it and broke it in for me...so today am going to begin race tuning it. Can't wait! ;-)

Dang dude that's one sweet looking truggy man.

Thanks...it is a beast for sure. Unfortunately I can't begin race tuning it today as the mesh cannot be properly set. This is because I put a new clutch kit on it (M2C) and the collet I used is to short. Consequently, the clutch bell is not flush with the spur gear (it's about .8mm off - but that is a big deal with gear mesh, as you know.

I used the collet that came with the clutch kit. I talked with both Mitch (who owns M2C) and Neal (CRE) to verify, but there is no rule of thumb. No big deal though..I have a lot of collets and have learned you just have to keep trying different ones until you get what you want.
