My new savage body

I got this body saturday morning with some paint....A 1970 Elcamino....worked on it all day saturday till 5:00 sunday morning, got a little rest then started again at 10:00 sunday morning till just now.....I masked everything and painted the silver (chrome) first....after drying i took off the mask, made decals on my printer and glued them to the inside of the body then let that dry & painted candy purple which is sorta transparent colour....When that dried i backed it with silver paint so the body looks metalic.....caint wait till i get finnished !!! let me know what you think about the body on how it looks..........

Looks good, but what kind of silver paint you got there in that large rattle can?

Not in the rattle can silver paint.that can is rustolium i used on my sons bicycle.....i used the small bottle of pactra racing finnish indy silver, thinned it & brushed it on......dont have a air brush for painting yet.....the reason for the silver paint is cause the purple i used you could see through and was trying to get a metalic look out of it....the picture was taken late at night about 2:00.....it looks better in the light.......if you want i can post the finnished body picture later on taken outside so you can get a better look............

here are some updated pictures.....its allmoast finnished other that some small trimming left to do.....only 1 thing i can't make up my mind about....my savage has the rc sollutions rollcage atatched to it.....take the cage off or leave it on with this body hmmmm.....what ya think ?

One thing I now do with all my bodies is I cut out the inside of the window stickers and I just stick on the frame of the window. That eliminates the hazy look you get when putting a clear sticker over a window.
