Didn't come with a remote though, and I still can't seem to find the engine either. :D

It's a 2014 X-Caliber 6

I've got one of these on my hard tail. Worst decision relating to bikes of my life. It feels loose when riding even though its not and makes for hell on the trails always feeling like the seat is just going to fall off.

Thanks guys! I had a cane creek suspension post on my Hardrock pro, and I'm with alpine. While it took a very slight bit of the bump out, the only thing it did really well was drain my wallet of $180, and change the fit of the bike every time I hit a bump. With a good saddle, and good riding shorts, you shouldn't need it IMO. Eventually your butt or the saddle one will break in. :D But, to each their own.

Also, I started out with a Trek Fuel full suspension years ago. But my last two have been hard tails, nothing corners or climbs like a hard tail IMO.

Nice ride man, I see the engine, its that cylinder where the water bottle goes, duh how do you not know these things Randy?...

Nice ride. It's missing something, though. Oh, yeah. It's missing dirt and grime.

LOL, the engine is lacking severely in it's current state Loring. :D

Hamz it will get dirty soon, we had flooding here yesterday so all the trails are a huge mess right now.

No, I believe that's the spare glow plug clipped in there.

Beauty. Keep it out of dusty areas.

Sweet bike.

Love the color and brand.

LMAO @ Rolex, I'll be sure and post dirty pics after the first trail run.

Rob, I dig the color also, charcoal / gunmetal is actually one of my favorite colors.

Got out for my first day back in the saddle today. First thoughts; I'm old, fat, and way outta shape. :hehe:

I rode the little Tennessee greenway (biking / jogging path that is paved, and 5 miles long) to start getting my lungs and muscles back in tune, so no actual mtn biking per say (though I did get off the path and get some actual dirt on it). I had to stop a few times when I was sucking wind, but I didn't cheat. If I stopped mid climb, I started right where I stopped, no walking the bike. I did about 3 miles today, and was beat afterwards, but it felt good to get back out there though. Gonna hit some trail riding on Saturday if they've dried out by then.

Awesome, just awesome! Great to hear you're getting back into cycling! Also, great choice of bike. The x-cal bikes are easily the best bang-for-your-buck hard tail out there. Glad to see you got a 29er, go big or go home!

At the advice of another moto bud, I put a 50mm stem on the bike today. HOLY CRAP! I won't get to hit any actual trails until late week due to weather, but driveway testing shows a huge difference in the feel of the bike. I feel much more centered, and I can loft the front end at will now. I can't wait to hit some trails now, it feels much more dirt bike like, which was my background before I got into mountain biking in 2001.

The 50mm stem was a bit too short, I picked up a 75mm stem from the LBS that I've yet to try out. I also found a smoking deal on a nice saddle, so I snagged that as well. Going to hit the local trails today and see how wet they are.

The new saddle, wholesome wholegrain leather and Ti goodness :D
