My cousin has had 3-4 pitts now and all of them have been the most lovable and playfull dogs I have ever met. Most well trained as well.

Until I really got to hang out with my cousins dogs I was convinced they were all psyco untrainable beasts. I was afraid to even go close to his dogs, and I'm not afraid of ANY animal. Then one day his female had come in the room without me noticing and had curled up by my feet. When I noticed her she jumped up on the couch and started licking my face. At first I was nervous but I realized that she was just playing and from that day whenever I went over she would always run over to me and get all excited and jump on me and wouldnt leave my side until I left. When he had his daughter the dogs would sleep around the crib and at the door to the room and if anyone came close they would go into guard mode.

Bast damn dogs I ever met.

Still a good lookin' dog, HB...

How come he's always sleepin? Are you feedin' him doggie downers?

He grows so damn fast all he can do is play for 10 minutes, sleep for a few hours wake up poop, piss, and eat then repeat.

Hey HB, never knew you were into pits, when I lived in Chicago I bread them for almost eight years, a great breed with a bad rap! heres a shot of my girlfriends pit, well shes mine now, she loves me more! I won her over with sausage! but I am sure you know, never give them too much! This dog can snore louder than any human and can eat all day long, shes a blast though, we really love the little bitch!

AHHHH

wake up, play, eat, poop piss ------ Its a dog's life.

Lucky little bugger.

Boss and his mum are lucky they've got eachother. My rotweiler gets lonely sometimes on her own.

Spontaneous suckling is quite amazing

Are your doggies as woosy as my one when thunder and lightning comes to town.

Scarlet is a beautiful girl! I got my Chocolate from a pit farm outside of Chicago.

Just a little pit history for those that don't know, now ya know!

Sometime during the nineteenth century, dog fanciers in England, Ireland, and Scotland began to experiment with crosses between Bulldogs and Terriers, looking for a dog that combined the gameness of the terrier with the strength and athleticism of the Bulldog. The result was a dog that embodied all of the virtues attributed to great warriors: strength, indomitable courage, and gentleness with loved ones. Immigrants brought these bull and terrier crosses to the United States. The American Pit Bull Terrier's many talents did not go unnoticed by farmers and ranchers who used their APBTs for protection, as catch dogs for semi-wild cattle and hogs, to hunt, to drive livestock, and as family companions. Today, the American Pit Bull Terrier continues to demonstrate its versatility, competing successfully in Obedience, Tracking, Agility, Protection, and Weight Pulls, as well as Conformation.

The essential characteristics of the American Pit Bull Terrier are strength, confidence, and zest for life. This breed is eager to please and brimming over with enthusiasm. APBTs make excellent family companions and have always been noted for their love of children. Because most APBTs exhibit some level of dog aggression and because of its powerful physique, the APBT requires an owner who will carefully socialize and obedience train the dog. The breed's natural agility makes it one of the most capable canine climbers so good fencing is a must for this breed. The APBT is not the best choice for a guard dog since they are extremely friendly, even with strangers. Aggressive behavior toward humans is uncharacteristic of the breed and highly undesirable. This breed does very well in performance events because of its high level of intelligence and its willingness to work

Well, my Saint Chijuajua project aint working out so good. Think I'll start working on a Tzu-Weiler mix next.

I'm sure the Sains doesn't mind much. Can you say "TIGHT"?
On the other hand can you say "OUCH"?

HB,
Your Dogs eyes are as red as yours. Does it run in the family?

Hey HB! When you said you got your dog out side of Chicago , did you mean far south of Chicago? Like Carbondale mabye?
when I started breeding my pits, I was invited down there to meet legendary pit bull breeder Clyde Mason,I dont know if youve heard of him but he was the original breeder of PD, the dog on the little rascals, this guy had a huge farm, his driveway up to the house was about 200 yards or so, on each side he had dog runs filled with the most beautiful and the strongest pits I had ever seen! This guy was about eighty years old when I met him, I am sure he is no longer with us but what a great guy, I got my first two dogs from him for $300,, yup, $300, I went back to his farm a couple of years later and got another bitch and had some great litters,I sold my pups for about $300 to $500 each, I am no longer into breeding them now but I do miss it, they were great dogs and I never had any trouble with them at all, They were always so good with my family and never once tried to bite or harm any one! someday when I move to a larger area I might get a couple more, great dogs!

Yeah my fiance and I want to start breeding pits, but we need a bigger place. It is in the plans if the cards pan out. I got my chocolate female from Chaos Kennels http://www.mvn.net/chaos/. It is in Walnut Hill so it is very far south of Chi town.

I think they are from Clyde Masons dogs because the blood line is called "Mason Champion/Hog" Wow what a small world NM.
