Cool, I haven't seen any Luv's in a long time.

Ya they are hard to come by now days. I found this one and jumped on it!

I was driving yesterday and the clutch slave cylinder went out. SWEET! Oh well got one on the way.

No crazy paint I dont think. I am going to bag it ya. My dad put the slave cylinder in today while I was at work so the luv is on the road again 10 bucks later.

It sounds like this is an ongoing project. I guess you could call it an endless LUV.....

Yep it will take awhile. I am debating on building my frame or buying this one already done...


Only one problem... He wants $3200 for it...

Not a bad looking frame. It's already got a 4-link in the rear and airbags all the way around. It's probably worth the money.

Ya and custom tube control arms, Z'd frame 1.5" and the frame is clearanced for the control arms as well. Plus it comes with the rims and tires. he said how it sits is how I would receive it.

Well I got some rims for it today....

Gotta get new tires but not bad for 120 bucks. They are 17" escalade rims.

That would be sick to buy the frame but also the easy way out, kind of takes a lot of what is supposed to be project truck out of the project, LOL!!! those wheels should look nice on there when you get some new rubber on them.

My LUV and my buddies datsun before I lowered the front of my LUV the way it is now lol looks like a baja truck compared to his...

And then I got the front lower finally lol.

Whats the suspension setup on the front of one of those? Just crank down a torsion bar or something to lower it or what?

Ya torsion bars on both trucks. I cut my bump stops in half and set it so they are about a half inch off the frame lol. It rides decent for a lowered truck. Not all bouncy.
