I fitted the centre pad as this increases the surface area of the brakes, this will give you the ability to control the brakes more so that you have a progressive braking effect rather than the on/off type of brakes that just end up flipping you over and trashing your shell.
I run my adjustment quite slack to eliminate grab. (I use the Ofna slider linkage setup too - recommended).

I know! It took me a few minutes to search out the info, then by the time I'd posted it, you'd beaten me to it!
:\

And what IS the MP servo saver mod?!?!?

I just bought a Kimbrough heavy duty large to replace the poopy stock one.]

the first thing on any mod is buy a six pack of beer. then drink 3 start working and finish your project when all else fails another six pack couldn't hurt.

Damn, Christian has gotten all admin on us and turned into a lazy POS. Dude, practice what you preach and use the search function.
=devil

The MP servo saver is actually the Monster Pirate steering assembly. It is similar to most buggy set ups and the ProLine kit for the T-Maxx.

Chris dude, if we hooked up soon I could show you my Savage. I did all these mods.

The MP servo -saver mod is done by replacing one of the stock bellcrank posts with the Monster Pirate version that has a built-in servo saver in it. Here's a guide: http://www.savage-central.com/ftopic9877.html

While I'm at it, here's the linkage mod : http://www.savage-central.com/ftopic4538.html

Cool - If the Kimbrough doesn't work out I will give the MP route a shot.

Darth - we have to get together and race SOON up at the BMX track. It should be just about dry enough...... Thanks for the links.
