I dont see Walbro on it, not sure.

Maybe I'm moving the High needle too much each time?

When i set mine back to factory, i had to turn my HSN about 1/32 of a turn to get mine right, it screams now, i think mine may still be a little rich but i dont think i need it any stronger, i never touched the LSN its still at factory settings.

I'm running 25:1, should I step to 30:1 since its cold here? In the teens when I'm running this...

i run 25:1 in mine, the last time i ran it it was around 40, i dont think the fuel mixture would make a difference, but i may be wrong, Rob could answer that question. Maybe Run 93 octane

Lloyd, another thing you may want to try is old school gas, you know before they started with the 10% ethanol mixed in to it. I have two two stroke chainsaws that just do not want to run right on that crap. It's hard to find a station that still sells gas without ethanol, I have one near me that sells it as "boat gas" and contains no ethanol. The Shindaiwa saw runs great on the boat gas but runs like crap on gas with ethanol.

You might also try some of the Low Lead Av-gas. That doesn't have any ethanol in it usually.

Did this problem start after the new gas lines were installed, could be a problem with those.

Thanks for the tips guys. Ima retune tomorrow and see how it goes.

Its for Hobby King but its actually a Rovan brand.

Higher octane fuel won't gain you a thing except a lighter wallet. These aren't high performance engines that require it. I know guys that run Coleman camp fuel that's about 50 octane.

I use the cheap stuff from Chevron and have never had a problem.

Yeah no where local sales anything higher than 91 any ways. I think, I hope, I was just tuning it wrong. I had it screaming one day for an entire tank and I didnt touch nothing, so when I got a litlte boggy I think I got to excited and through the needles out of wack. . .NO biggy, I've not been into anything except electric for 3 years now, I'll get the hand of it back.

Little adjustments each time are all that are needed.

If HK didn't use a Walbro carb which pretty much everybody uses, then they might have used some off brand that could be causing problems. If it isn't stamped Walbro someplace on the body of the carb, then this could be the case.

If you continue to have problems, I will pull the Walbro carb off my parts engine and send it to you to try.

I noticed that the primer went empty a few times yesterday while I was messing with it and it didnt want to fill back up easy...?

When you replaced the lines, you did make sure to hook the lines back up the carb properly right?

The intake line should connect to the bottom of the carb.

Lol yeah, I triple checked that :D
