My new crawler

Picked this up for $30. Now I am working on getting it going. I think it is a Traxxas TRX but I really don't know.

not a trx a REVO thats was nitro sum 1 converted to E power... cantilever shocks give it away

no.. a 2.4 ghz would be better looks like you a have a 27mhz receiver now thats with the color coded crystal a flysky radio gear might be cheaper and easier for you...a few under $50

That's ok. I didn't mean hardcore rock crawling. More like going over gravel and mud bogging and going up and down curbs and chasing my dog around with it.
