the main color is 3 way change backed w/ grape pearle and black.....I'm doing the next one dammit.....

thanks MW, I wish I could take credit for it.....this was my friends forst time using an airbrush......came out pretty frickin sweet I think....the red was supposed to be pink and the green was supposed to be more neon color than it is....the grape pearl kinda threw me for a loop...I thought it was more solid than it is so I had to back it all w/ black to get teh colors to contrast......

I would love to post a pic of a lid I did but damn they are embarassing!!! I need a better one that is double action so I can control the flow.Noce lid. Got that Rasta look to it.

That's the point....
Jon after it was finished I wished we backed the red stripe areas w/ yellow so it was truely a Rasta machine...funny thing is it started out going to be pink green and flourescent orange.....I bought Arawak's wheelset he painted green.....this almost matches the wheels and I didn't try to....
I'm going to do a buggy body next week and see how I fare....

Sweet lid dude, gona have to wear shades even when it's cloudy! I am working up the courage to buy and airbrush and try my luck, but I really don't paint that many lids to justify. One of these days....

go to harbor frieght.....My brush was 15 bucks and dual action.....I'm sure it's not the best...AND IT'S A PITA to clean really well.....but it gave me (and my friend) an airbrush to try.....

I have/use the same thing. Its painted ALOT of bodies. I'm sure its not the best but I dont have any complaints. Nice lil gun esp. for the price.

Your lid looks sweet. I get a chicano' lowrider feel from it. Something that should be rolling around in East LA with some gold wire wheels on it and velvet interior.
